A big THANK YOU to the Secret Santa Society of the RGV for their donation of plush animals. These buddies will go home with a child who receives our services. Thank you for helping us heal hearts in our community.

The Secret Santa Society mission reminds me of a Winston Churchill quote, 'We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.' What you do for the school children of the Rio Grande Valley is truly inspirational.

We want you to know that the items your organization donated may seem like a small action to you, but for our school community, those small actions make a huge impact. Mother Teresa said, 'Don't look for big things, just do the small things with great love.'

Did you know?

What makes Secret Santa Society unique is the fact, that we have children write Dear Santa letters. With the help of teachers, we choose those letters that come from children who otherwise might not have a Christmas at home.

Our board members along with teachers and volunteers go Christmas shopping for gifts, shoes, and clothes for each child. The items that are purchased for each child are at their request.

Board members and volunteers gift wrap each gift individually. Lastly, the schools allow the board members to hold a small event in the school to distribute gifts to the children who were chosen.
